AM-PACK Generates Conformity
Any standard which is relevant for product development is based on the doctrine that good products are the consequence of good processes. Processes are considered to be good if they can continuously deliver outputs, which comply with the requirements.
With its standards-compliant templates and workflows, its systematic plausibility checks and its sophisticated linking schemes AM-PACK provides firm preconditions to achieve outputs which comply with the requirements. AM-PACK supports the workflows of artifacts (in Polarion called Work Items) and of documents (in Polarion called Live Documents) by means of dedicated programs which for example automate the assignment of people and due dates or automatically make log entries when statuses are changed. Eventually using AM-PACK any kind of report on factual and temporal traceability can be generated, which is needed for progress control in the project and requested by assessors.
AM-PACK is a software tool that complies with ISO 26262: 2011, Part 8, Clause 11, Confidence in the use of software tools: By means of a software tool confidence analysis TCL1 (Tool Confidence Level 1) has been determined for AM-PACK.
Maturity level assurance for new parts: AM-PACK supports consistently the interaction with all Excel files as recommended by the VDA guideline and can provide the required graphical and tabular reports over all maturity levels.
