Art in the city - Five Steel Sculptures | April to October 2024

From the greeting of the Lord Mayor Michael Salomo:

As part of a cooperation between the city of Heidenheim and the Kunstverein Heidenheim for the coming summer a new project: a public art exhibition at five locations in the city centre.

The transformation of the city centre as a meeting place is a task that affects us all and must therefore be tackled by the entire city centre as a whole. The Kunstverein Heidenheim is tackling this task.

The association and its members want to make art accessible to many people and to awaken and promote interest in new and challenging artistic forms of expression.

The city centre offers spaces for encounters and exchange. Art, in turn, gives us the opportunity to see things with new eyes.
