Our Solutions for Your Challenges
cip alpha strengthens the development of embedded software and mechatronic vehicle systems through the symbiosis of its three following competency fields:
1 Standards and project competencies
2 Software tools for artefact-based requirements, design, and test management
3 Automotive SPICE-compliant process models and project plan templates.
1 Standards and Project Competencies
IATF 16949, Automotive SPICE, and ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) state extremely high challenges for the development of embedded software and mechatronic systems in road vehicles. In the practice of time-driven and cost-driven development projects, procedures are required which bring process and product quality under one roof together with innovative professional expertise as well as flexible and efficient management expertise. cip alpha engineers accompany, support, and improve projects and processes exactly in that sense at automotive suppliers from start-up companies up to global enterprises.
2 Software Tools for artefact-based
Requirements, Design, and Test ManagementIn times of big data artifact-based and bidirectional tracing of product data is one of the most critical success factors in product development. Thousands of OEM require-ments which are subject to continuous change must get drilled down from the cus-tomer requirements specification over any number of component and architectural levels to the individual software instruction, to the individual electronic component, and to the individual mechanical tolerance – individually identifiable and verifiable per release and per prototype.
AM-PACK – Automotive and Mechatronics Package – is the cip alpha software tool which provides exactly that. And it leads the developer safely across all the stumbling blocks of the automotive standards. In order to achieve this AM-PACK comes as an add-on and complements the industry-independent software tool Polarion ALM from Siemens in such a way that a homogenous, web-based software tool environment is provided throughout the entire automotive product emergence.
cip alpha is linked to Siemens and its extensive PLM software product portfolio through a worldwide valid Solution Partner Agreement.
3 Automotive SPICE-compliant
Process Models and Project Plan TemplatesAchieving compliance with Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety individually per project is very extensive, fraught with risk, and expensive. As opposed to that it is feasible, low-risk, and economic to derive each individual development project from a generic development process, which was designed only once and compliant with Automotive SPICE level 3 and functional safety.
SUDOQU – Systemic Ubiquitous Dynamic Organisational and Quality Understanding – is the cip alpha process model which provides exactly that. And it provides the developer reliably with all forms and checklists needed in an automotive-compliant project flow. In order to achieve this SUDOQU comes as an add-on and complements the industry-independent Process Manager from Signavio in such a way that a homogeneous, web-based process model is provided reflecting the entire automotive product emergence.
cip alpha is linked to Signavio and its extensive Business Transformation Suite as Certified Consulting Partner.
