AM-PACK Release Note | Version 2024.1

AM-PACK stands for Advanced Management Package and is our comprehensive add-on to Polarion ALM from Siemens. AM-PACK makes Polarion usable out of the box in all phases of the development of mechatronic/cyberphysical components that are installed, for example, in e-mobility, trains, ships and medical technology. The new AM-PACK version 2024.1 brings attractive new features:

• The latest Polarion version 2404 is fully utilized and supported
• In addition to supporting the traditional requirements-based approach to V-flow, there is now full MBSE support, making Polarion a tool for model-based systems engineering
• Conceptual BOMs, which form the structural backbone for product development on the left-hand V-side, can now be designed and maintained directly in Polarion in an easy-to-understand and manageable graphical interface
• Managing the relationships between requirements, functions, interfaces, etc. and development statuses (feature to release planning) has been given a new look and the right speed; the path from the C-BOM to the E-BOMs (Engineering BOM) can be managed elegantly and seamlessly
• Sample planning, sample testing and test report generation (DVP&R) enrich AM-PACK as an end-to-end concept for all aspects of the right V-side and compliant with all current standards from the design of the E-BOMs to their verification/validation on the appropriate test benches
